We are primarily known for shipping transplants nationwide for 12 weeks during the spring.
We also open our retail shop and 2 greenhouses to the public for 6 weeks during the spring.
In the fall, we sell and ship fresh peppers nationwide.
This is a great opportunity to work with a unique crew and business! Cross Country Nursery is farming meets eCommerce.
The season is from February 5 through May 31.
Hours are Monday-Friday 830am-5pm in February.
Beginning in March, we change to Monday-Saturday 830am-5pm.
Starting the week of 3/18, we will take Wednesdays off and work Thursday-Tuesday 830am-5pm.
Responsibilities include:
Transplanting seedlings from 512 cells to 3 inch pots Fertilizer application and watering Monitoring plants for health and culling when needed Greenhouse organization and upkeep Packing and shipping plants (Saturday-Monday beginning in March) Other duties as assigned Job Types:
